When it comes to your big day, there are so many decisions you have to make, don’t forget to make sure you pick the right DJ for your wedding reception.  The following are our opinions, for an unbiased opinion please have a look at this useful independent page Advice For Choosing a Wedding Disco

Our top tips to make sure you choose the right Wedding DJ for your special day:

1. Look for genuine Wedding DJ References and testimonials from previous clients and venues.

Have a look at just a few testimonials from some of our delighted bride and groom:

“I would just like to say a massive thank you to Cheeky Entertainment, especially David. We had originally booked a different dj for our wedding. However, I then came across David and Cheeky Entertainment at a wedding I was working at. They were exactly what we were looking for… Great music, he knew his audience, extremely professional and out of all the different bands and dj’s we had seen, David really stood out. We then chose to cancel our original dj and booked with Cheeky Entertainment. It was the best decision we had made and really brought our wedding reception to life. So many compliments and even yet people are still complimenting saying how amazing the day was. The Macarena has also been mentioned a couple of times!! We would recommend them to absolutely anyone.   Thank you so much once again. You really made our evening.”

Jonathan and Gemma Whitehouse, Wedding at Highgrove Hotel, Troon

“I would like to personally thank David and Mandy at Cheeky Entertainment for their continued hard work and dedication to providing our guests with the very best entertainment. Each week we can be certain that you will here on time and perform week-in-week-out with the same high standards and professionalism. You are a pleasure to work with and always keen to receive feedback to ensure you continue to surpass our expectations. Your attention to detail, polite and friendly manner and consistent drive to impress your clients has made Cheeky Entertainment for first stop for DJ’s and Hosts for our event. We look forward to continue working with Cheeky Entertainment for a very long time into the future.”

Norman Rennie, General Manager at Seamill Hydro

DJ, Equipment and Set-Up overall met our expectations and there were certainly a mixed group of people dancing throughout the evening, your DJ on the night was presentable, friendly, approachable and accommodated our needs and wants. We were really happy with service provided from start to finish and will recommend you and your company to others in the future!”

Mark & Sharon Russell, Wedding Reception, Glasgow

“Hi David, we would like to thank you for a brilliant service!  The bouncy castle made the day for us.  The DJ was also excellent and was able to accommodate all requests and keep the night going when it went quiet. He also had to put up with drunken hecklers! Overall you provided an excellent service and value for money.  Thanks again!”

Holly and Grant McKay, Wedding Reception, Burnhouse Manor

The above are just some of our wedding testimonials not only from the bride and groom but wedding venues also! Check out some more testimonials from our previous clients.

2. Interview potential wedding DJ’s.

Here at Cheeky Entertainment we believe it is vital that you meet us, before your wedding so we can ensure we understand your expectations for the most important day of your life.  We offer a no obligation complimentary consultation, so you can meet us and ensure we are right for you before signing up.

3. Presentation

The last thing you want after spending months if not years planning every aspect of your big day and making sure all of the little details are perfect, is for a scruffy DJ to walk in late and start the first dance by putting their foot firmly in their mouth.  With Cheeky Entertainment you needn’t worry as we believe these simple basics are some of the most important elements of what we do.  We guarantee to be at your venue exactly when we said we would be, to be smart, polite, friendly and professional at all times.

4.   DJ Equipment and Lighting.

It is said that a bad workman always blames his tools, but even the best DJs are pretty useless if they turn up with speakers that don’t work.  So we don’t end up singing your first song, we have invested in market leading equipment which is robust and reliable as well as providing great sound quality.  Further to this, we also have back-up equipment so in the very unlikely event of malfunction or accident we can quickly replace the effected equipment and get the party going again.
